Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Gereh ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Gereh. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not share your account with anyone else
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Maintain only one account per person

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Share explicit, violent, or illegal content
• Use the App to solicit money from other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Circumvent any safety or moderation measures
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violations of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you create ("User Content"), including photos, bio text, prompt responses, and messages. By posting User Content, you grant Gereh a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines without notice.

Profile Verification

Gereh offers optional selfie verification. Verification indicates that a selfie matched the user's profile photos at the time of verification. It does not guarantee a user's identity, intentions, or trustworthiness. Use your own judgment when interacting with other users.

In-App Purchases and Coins

• Coins can be purchased with real money through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Coin prices are displayed before purchase.
• Coins can also be earned by completing lessons or through the referral program.
• Coins are used to purchase premium features and packages within the App.
• Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• We reserve the right to modify coin pricing, package offerings, and the features available for purchase at any time.
• Unused coins remain in your account until used or until your account is deleted.

Referral Program

• Each user receives a unique referral code.
• When a new user signs up using your code and completes their profile, both of you earn bonus coins.
• Self-referral and fraudulent use of the referral system is prohibited and may result in account suspension and forfeiture of earned coins.

Lessons and Educational Content

All lesson content, including games, quizzes, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of Gereh. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from lesson content without our written permission.

Safety

While we work to maintain a safe environment through moderation tools, blocking, and reporting features, you are responsible for your own safety when interacting with other users. We recommend:

• Not sharing personal information like your home address, workplace, or financial details
• Meeting in public places if you decide to meet someone in person
• Telling a friend or family member about your plans
• Reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior immediately
• Trusting your instincts — if something feels wrong, disengage

Gereh does not conduct criminal background checks on users.

Blocking and Reporting

• You may block any user at any time. Blocking removes the match and hides you from each other.
• You may report users for violations. Reports are reviewed by our team and may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.
• False or malicious reporting may itself result in account action.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, design, and functionality are owned by Gereh and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Account Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or for any conduct we determine is harmful to the community.
• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
• Upon account deletion, your profile, photos, matches, and messages will be permanently removed.
• Coins and purchased features are forfeited upon account deletion and are non-refundable.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any interactions between users, whether online or offline.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gereh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages arising from user interactions, data loss, or service interruptions.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the version number in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
